JCAMP-DX ist ein textbasiertes Dateiformat der IUPAC, das ursprünglich für die Infrarotspektroskopie entwickelt wurde.cite-ref-1[1] Es existieren Erweiterungen des Formats für Kernspinresonanzspektroskopiecite-ref-2[2], Massenspektrometriecite-ref-3[3], Ionen-Mobilitäts-Spektrometercite-ref-4[4], Elektronenspinresonanzcite-ref-5[5], Circulardichroismus-Spektroskopie.cite-ref-6[6] Eine Erweiterung des Standards umfasst Metadaten, die im Sinne der guten Laborpraxis notwendig sind.cite-ref-7[7] Trotz aller Bemühung für klare Sprache in den Spezifikationen sind die Implementierungen der Gerätehersteller häufig fehlerhaft.cite-ref-8[8] Mit JSpecView existiert ein Open-Source-Projekt, welches den Standard quelloffen implementiert.cite-ref-9[9]
